New Contract for Production Expansion

Ophtecs (Euro) Ltd is a major manufacturer of a range of fluids for ophthalmic uses including contact lens cleaning. It is a subsidiary of Ophtecs Corporation of Japan.

The Irish factory was first established in 2002, at which time Organo designed, manufactured, installed and validated a range of systems from Purified Water (PW) and Water for Injection (WFI) Systems, to Product Preparation and Filling Systems. These systems were fully validated and satisfied the specified FDA, USP and European Pharmacopoeia guidelines.

Approximately 90% of Ophtecs (Euro) products are exported and they are now expanding production.

Organo have been awarded another contract to expand the water product mixing and delivery systems, again all fully validated.
